It is with great sorrow that I have to tell you Hickory passed away on March 24th. He brought much joy to us, many of you, and many of the animals on our place. He was a gentle horse with a good heart and a greater soul. I am sure his job of bringing joy and giving love, to humans and animals alike, is continuing in heaven. Hickory was 38 this year.

Lamb Update

Clover and Dandelion are living here now. Clover is one of the triplets born on 3/14 and Dandelion was born on 3/18. Both needed to be fed with a bottle, so they came to live with us. They are doing well, although Dandelion has a sore elbow. We are hoping this will pass and he will soon be bucking and playing with his "brother" Clover!

March 2008

Baby Lambs are starting to arrive.....on March 14th, three triplet lambs were born! We'll pick a day for lamb portraits as soon as we know everytbody is happy and healthy. So far, so good!

Since everyone is asking, the Boxer who came to us Valentine's Day morning, is now in a permanent home with a very wonderful, loving family. He has children to play with, a definate request on his part. They love him as much, if not more, than I do. He still comes to play with Merci. You can see his photo here. Handsome boy!
